Student Refunds

 Expecting a Refund?
If you have an anticipated credit for your current term, please be sure that you sign up for either direct deposit or the re-loadable debit card on If you are already registered please be sure that your banking information is up to date. Refunds will not start until mid semester.
If you have never registered for this service-
Don’t wait- go on line now and register at, to be sure that you will get your refund as fast as possible!!!
*After you register you will receive an email when the funds will be disbursed.

Billing Information

2018 Winter/Spring Semester bills are now available for viewing on your student portal.  Bills will be mailed week of December 11th.  Payment Due Date is Jan 16th.

FAFSA, NJHESAA/TAG, and Loan Web Sites

It is not too late to file your 2017-18 FAFSA application. 
If you have not already done so, go to and complete the 2017-18 application ASAP.

Remember you may begin filing your 2018-19  FAFSA application after October 1, 2017 at
The New Jersey State Grant Deadline has been moved up to April 1, 2018 for the 2018-19 academic year. Please do not delay and lose out on important funding. 
Caldwell funds are limited, so don’t miss out on your grants and loans – FILE YOUR FAFSA TODAY!

CARES Office Hours:
Weekdays 8:30 - 4:30 
CARES will not have evening hours during winter break starting the week after finals - we will resume late hours Tuesday January 23rd.

-Cash Payments and diploma pick up are not available after 4:30 on late nights unless prior arrangements have been made.
-Meeting with advisors is by appointment.
-Not all departments are available during late night hours

To login, use your NetID and password
Caldwell University has implemented a 90 day password expiration policy and requires strong NetID passwords .
Passwords will need to be a minimum of 8 characters with at least 3 of the 4 characteristics below:
-upper case letters
-lower case letters

Be sure to setup your security questions or contact number in Cougar Apps which will allow you to unlock or change your password automatically.

If you never received your NetID and have been accepted as a student or are student returning to Caldwell University please fill out the NetID Request Form

If you have applied to Caldwell University you will receive an email with instructions on how to log into the portal to check your status.
The email will include your student ID number and a password.
